Ideally patients should be directed to Sunnybrook with the relevant information (U/S and biopsy results) and this may be best coordinated from their referring provider.  While patients may wish to email us directly, the usual referral pathways with an indication on the referral that the patient may be interested in RFA will probably be the best approach. If the patient has access to all of their records and can share them (U/S and biopsy reports), we would consider seeing them directly (including out of province/out of country patients). We are happy to see patients with 1 biopsy showing benign and can facilitate the second biopsy.
