Assessment:

Please fax or email referrals for Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) of benign or autonomously functioning thyroid nodules, or ethanol ablation for benign cystic thyroid nodules. The work up, ultrasound, and biopsy of your thyroid nodules is an OHIP covered fee. RFA treatment is a novel, private pay option that avoids surgical removal of your thyroid gland, hypothyroidism and the downtime associated with surgical recovery. We are happy to assess whether you are a good candidate for this minimally invasive treatment.
